Khosla Capital LLC is looking to hire a Residential Make Ready Technician to join our team. located in Englewood, NJ. Embracing the philosophy, you will exhibit excellent customer service skills; treating our residents with dignity, respect, and a desire to provide the highest standard of quality and comfort in their homes. The Make-Ready Technician is responsible for performing Apartment painting, basic troubleshooting in electric and plumbing, common electrical & plumbing repairs, cleaning and completing preventative maintenance on their assigned property. The Make-Ready technician will continually improve operating conditions, quality, and integrity of all building systems and building appearances, while delivering superior customer service to our residents.

Job Duties
  • Assess apartments after move out for damages and create schedule
  • Complete any low voltage or plumbing repairs during apartment turn
  • Paint & clean apartment. Complete apartment make ready process
    Ensure all appliances are working properly in apartment
  • Troubleshoots minor maintenance problems involving electrical, structural, plumbing and equipment repair or replacement.
  • Performs preventive building maintenance duties
  • Ensure all hazardous conditions are reported and repaired on a timely basis.
Required Qualifications
  • 2+ years in construction or trade
  • At least 1-3 years’ experience in building maintenance.
  • Must be able to perform minor plumbing, electrical, carpentry, lock smiting, painting, dry-wall repair, cleaning and snow removal.
  • Maintain accurate records regarding preventative maintenance, service requests, apartment make-ready status, and work in progress items.
  • Must be available to handle on-call emergency services.
  • Should have reliable transportation.
  • Valid Driver’s License required.
